Let’s go take in a show

Live shows I enjoyed mid/late 2018. “The League of Gentlemen”, “VULCAN 7”, “Bat Out Of Hell The Musical”, “Ruby Wax: How to Be Human”.

Actually for the last one (Ruby Wax), two hammered harpies sitting in front managed to drown the floor around us in vodka and lemonade. I remember having to dry my booze stinking bag out when I got home, which wasn’t all that relaxing.

Tuesday 14 August – The League of Gentlemen (Cambridge Corn Exchange)

“You people are all alike, You march in here, young! try and touch the local things. I suppose next you’ll be spraying me with one of those cans of paint, smearing poor Tubbs here with excrement.”

“We didn’t burn him!”
“My insides are all wrong”

Saturday 22 September – They Might Be Giants (Cambridge Junction)

Monday 15 October – Bat Out Of Hell The Musical (London Dominion Theatre, Tottenham Court Rd). A slightly weird production but awesome nonetheless .

Tuesday 20 November – Ruby Wax: How to Be Human (Cambridge Corn Exchange). I wasn’t that thrilled by this. Maybe I should read the book?
